Basic Frame U is one of the structural components of the VariBoxes system. It serves to build up the basic structure.

The part serves to increase the span between shelfs. Putting one Basic Frame HO between two Basic Frames U (or H) you get a room for Drawer 2603 (Drawer A4 deep). Putting more pieces of Basic Frame HO between two Frames U (or H) you get a bigger room for higher objects like files, bottles and vessels.

It has thin side walls and is intended for the common use in offices and workplaces. It can be combined in two ways:

  • with the Basic Frames U/H and
  • with the Robust Frames UI/IU/HI (limited, see folowing paragraph).

Basic Frame HO can be mounted into the inner area of any combination as a shelf. The part can be also used in the side walls but only if they are free of Robust Frames below. At the combination side the Basic and Robust Frames can't be combinated.

The frames get connected together by Connectors:

  • 2631-Inner Connector
  • 2632-Outer Connector

The choice of connectors depends on the users intention. For the inner walls of combination use the 2631 Connectors. For the side walls of the combination use the 2632 Connectors.
